Bainbridge Island is not large, but does have the basics for travellers. Most are clustered in one of two places, either downtown Winslow, or High School Road.

Follows is a brief list of those places the wine traveller might find useful.

Winslow (Immediately up hill from ferry dock, 1/10 mile, go south 1/10th mile):

Harbor Square Wine Shop (north of SR-305)
Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce
Waterfront Park (kids play area, water view, next to Town & Country Market)
That's A Some Pizza (pizza by the slice)
Island Vintners 2 wineries shared tasting room - sit down and have a glass atmosphere
Eleven Winery's Wine bar (in Winslow Mall)
Town & Country Market (full grocery store with wonderful Deli and excellent wine selection)
Blackbird Bakery (wonderful munchies and espresso)
Cafe Nola (Mike & Beth's favorite BI restaurant)
Harbour Pub (excellent food, great beer selection)
Bainbridge Farmers Market (just behind Blackbird Bakery and City Hall, Saturdays 9am-1pm Apr-Oct)

High School Road (Immediately south of SR-305, 1 mile up hill from ferry):

For Parents (various kids places):

Wilkes Elementary school (great kids play area -- 2/10 mile east of BI Vineyard and Winery on Day Rd.; no facilities)
Waterfront Park (kids play area, Wed. evening Farmers Market, next to Town & Country in Winslow; public restrooms)
