Open this wknd: last chance for xmas
PV is open every weekend, 11am-5pm.   This will be your last weekend to buy a carefully considered truly local gift.   You can come to the tasting room and choose a bottle, or get a gift certificate (more below)!

Note for your last minute shopping, every day this week (except Wed), and all of next week, Mike should be available at the winery - call or txt my cell 206-200-5902 to make sure someone's here, or just come up the driveway and visit the closest commercial vineyard to downtown Seattle.

Gift certificates
Did you know PV does gift certificates?   If you can't decide on just the right wine to give, you can let your giftee decide for themselves with a gift certificate.   Also, if you can't be here to make that purchase, we can do the gift certificate via email.   Simply call or email the winery, and let us know...

Tasting room: Almost all new wines!
We're now pouring all our new wines, including 2014 Melon de Bourgogne, 2014 Mueller Thurgau, 2014 Madeleine Angevine, and 2014 Syrah.   Please note that we are now also pouring the 2014 Siegerrebe - this wine has been anxiously awaited by many - this is your chance to be the first to buy it!   We have a few cases left of the 2013 Lemberger, and just a few bottles left of the 2013 Rose'.   Of course we have plenty of the 2013 Frambelle available.

PV needs a wine salesperson
You've seen this call from PV before, here it is again...   PV needs a wine salesperson.   We have lots of great wines to sell, but this time of year we just don't get enough tasting room visitors up our gravel driveway.   We're looking for someone with great sales skills who can help bring our wine to restaurants and more wine shops in the Puget Sound area.   We're especially interested in Seattle proper, but are also interested in widening our reach south and north on the mainland.   If you're interested, or know of someone who might be, please contact Mike by replying to this email, or call/txt my cell 206-200-5902.

Port Townsend update
As   mentioned in previous newsletters, Mike is now consulting for Port Townsend Vineyards.   There's a new article in Port Townsend Leader about the project.   This article talks about the next two phases of the project, namely the new winery-to-be immediately off the highway when you're entering town, and the new tasting room in an old historic building on Water street in old downtown Port Townsend.   It's an incredibly ambitious project, Mike is thrilled and honored to be even a small part of it.

PV 12th Anniversary
Well, this is not exactly true - let me explain...   Mike and family moved to Bainbridge Island 12 years ago today (14-Dec-2003), specifically to become a vineyard and winery.   As it takes four years to grow the plants to the first harvest, we didn't actually open as winery until 2007, but I choose the move date as that was the first step in the process.

Come by the winery and clink a glass in celebration with Mike.   I truly love what I do, this really is the coolest job in the world.   You might ask - If I had known what a long and tortuous path it would be beforehand, would I have done it?   YOU BET!
