Last BI Winter Farmers Market -- this weekend
The Bainbridge Island Winter Farmers Market runs for two more weekends.  We'll be missing the last one, so this coming weekend will be your last chance to visit us at the Farmers Market until Spring 2008.  Details at the website.  Hope to see you there!

Locally grown wine for the holidays
When visiting friends and/or family during the holidays, a bottle of locally produced wine is almost always appreciated.  Our wine is sold at Seattle, Redmond and Olympia Whidbey Island, so even if you can't make it to Bainbridge, there's a store near you where you can still pick up a bottle in time for holiday festivities!

On the website -- New harvest panorama, Autumn photos
When we were harvesting the block of Madeleine Angevine a couple of months ago, our friend Garret Veley showed up with his panorama camera and took pictures.  He also helped out picking!  I finally got around to posting that and a handful of other nice Autumn pictures of the vineyard.

In the vineyard -- Rain!
It's not often that Seattle area weather makes the national news -- our massive rain influx last week was something amazing!  Our driveway was 12" deep in fast running water all day Monday, but it mostly survived it.  We had springs popping up everywhere!  I spent the day soaking wet, trenching with a shovel, and managed to redirect the greatest threats to the vineyard topsoil, and the cover crop did the rest, so all is well here.  I'm grateful for our success, as many people I've talked to were not as lucky and have tales of great destruction.

2005 Müller Thurgau -- sold out
It's official -- we are sold out of the 2005 MT.  We are now selling the 2006 vintage.  The 2006 is similar to the 2005, but with a slightly softer mouthfeel and slightly lower acid.  This means that it's even easier to simply sip and enjoy than the 2005!

Outlets -- BI Harbor Square Wine Shop
Here on Bainbridge, Harbor Square Wine Shop gets an extra commendation -- they have put our Perennial Vintners poster on the wall of the shop!  It is the only winery advertisement there, the other posters are maps showing WA and OR wine regions.  They are also rapidly approaching our top sales outlet.  Thanks guys!
