Subject: [PV-Friends] December newsletter (supplement)

When I sent the newsletter earlier today, I completely forgot to mention the most important item...

For the holidays, the Frambelle port-style dessert wine is now on sale for $19/bottle.  Bear in mind that this is a 500ml bottle -- half again larger than your typical dessert wine (375ml), which typically sell in the mid-twenty-dollar range.

This wine makes an outstanding digestif all by itself, or serve with new york style cheesecake, or simply with nibbles of dark, dark chocolate.  Bring it to your Christmas parties and delight your friends!

Additionally, our executive chef Andrew MacMillen has come up with a recipe using Frambelle.  His "Frambelle Rosemary Roast Duck" was intended as an alternate Thanksgiving dinner, but we're a little past that now as I'm so late with newsletters.  It would be a wonderful meal any time, especially on a chilly night with friends during the holidays.

If you wish to play around a bit, try our "Framcello" layered cocktail combining it with an Italian Limoncello.  The distinct yellow and red layers are eye-catching as all get-out and the drink is delicious!  How can you go wrong with raspberry and lemon, yum?!

All our wines are available this weekend (1st wknd Dec.) at the winery tasting room, and at the Bainbridge Island Farmers Market.  Vino Verite in Seattle will have Frambelle on special sale today, Thu 02-Dec at $14.  And of course it is also available at several other locations the Puget Sound area -- check our website for the outlet nearest you.
